2013 USAT NYS TAEKWONDO FEDERATION FORM &SPARRING SEMINAR

In preparation for the 2013 USA Nationals in Chicago the NYS Taekwondo Federation would like to announce a form & sparring seminar. The 2013 NYS championships was the biggest tournament thus far and is constantly growing thanks to the support of all athletes and parents supporting the organization and also Taekwondo as a world sport. Information is below:

When: 5/25 (SATURDAY)

Where: Queens College Fitzgerald Gym at Queens College

Time: 12PM - POOMSAE (FORM) SEMINAR       2PM - 5PM  - GYUROOGI (SPARRING) SEMINAR

Fees: All attendees of the 2013 NYS Taekwondo Championships are FREE! (NYS will cover all fees and expenses!)

All non attendees that wish to attend - $60 for 1 event $100 for 2 events

Additional Notes: NYS will be sponsoring this year OFFICIAL NEW YORK STATE UNIFORMS TO ANYONE GOING TO NATIONALS THAT ATTENDED THE 2013 USAT NYS TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIPS! (proof of flight and registration must be provided to receive official uniforms)

FORMAT:      Name of attendee / usat id# / age / belt / event name (ex. form / sparring / both) /  tshirt size / proof of 2013 nys taekwondo entry

2013 NY STATE REFEREE SEMINAR

Registration for Referee Seminar is now available on USAT website and will be held on 3/9/13 in Bayside, NY @2pm.

JUNE 26 2012 - NYS FEDERATION AND USAT JR AND SR NATIONALS

NYS is proud to announce that the NYS seminar was very successful with over 200 athletes participating in the form and sparring seminar. NYS has sponsored over 100 NYS team warmup suits to athletes that participated in NYS Championships and are attending USAT Jr and Sr Nationals. We wish everyone luck that will be attending nationals this year and if anyone does not have a coach NYS will offer a sparring coach on standby. (Master Clinton Oh, Master Joseph Froman & Master Andrew Oh) Although it is not guarunteed we will do our best to accomodate those without. NEW YORK STATE FEDERATION IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE:

To all 2012 NYS Taekwondo Championship participants who are attending the 2012 USAT Jr. Olympics and National Championships, 

We are proud and excited to announce that on JUNE 9TH 2012, the NYS Taekwondo Federation will be hosting a poomsae and sparring seminar with former World Champions from Korea, Korean National Champions, USA National Champions along with other various national team members and experienced Masters and Coaches from Korea and the NYS Taekwondo Federation. The seminar will be open to those who participated at the 2012 NYS Championships this past March. Those who would like to participate in the seminar but have not competed at the 2012 NYS Championships are eligible to participate for $80, but will not be qualified to receive warmup and hats.  

The 2012 NYS Championships was the most successful state championships in New York thus far. NYS will be sponsoring this elite seminar free of charge to support the athletes of NY who attended the NYS Championships. Also, NYS will be sponsoring WARM UP SUITS & HATS to athletes attending the state march during nationals.
