Official USAT NYS Taekwondo Championships is March 5th 2011 It is with enthusiasm and joy that I bid and welcome you to participate in the New York State Taekwondo Tournament that is being held this year on March 5th at Queens College in Flushing, NY. Last year’s tournament proved to be a great success and I have no doubt that this year’s tournament will have the same fantastic outcome as well. This year we continue our tradition in qualifying both new and old competitors to Nationals. As there are many changes in this tournament please read over the material carefully or visit our website for information. This year’s tournament will be the perfect chance to unite the Taekwondo enthusiasts and their different schools in an exciting and motivating environment. Last year’s tournament was a great example of the sportsmanship, talent and dedication of the Taekwondo community and I welcome you to the excitement once again. The Taekwondo community has experienced tremendous growth in the past year and I look forward to seeing and meeting with all of you. Please look over the enclosed material carefully and complete all documents. As this years tournament is run as a USAT state qualifier all registration is done online. Please contact us if online registration is not possible and we will aid in doing so. In order to ensure a smoothly run and on-schedule tournament, I strongly encourage all participants to pre-register early. It is also important to remember that tournament day registrations will not be permitted this year.
